ABOUT OUR PROJECT

Creating Change

Ever since 2017, Taller Ecológico de Puerto Rico has been providing participants with a rich and diverse learning environment in nature. Project based learning, STEM and hands-on experience have always been at our core.

It was founded by Áurea E. Rodríguez-Santiago who owns a PhD in Biological Oceanography, responding to the need of sound environmental education in the Puerto Island and all over the globe.

EXPERIENCES ARE AVAILABLE FOR ALL AGES AND GROUPS, Year-round!

CERTIFICACIÓN BAHÍA
DE JOBOS PARA
MAESTROS

La Reserva Nacional de Investigación Estuarina de Bahía de Jobos (JBNERR), por sus siglas en inglés, invita a maestros a obtener la Certificación de Bahía de Jobos. El Programa de Educación de la Reserva impartirá los talleres a maestros del programa “Teachers on the Estuary (TOTE)”. Los talleres serán facilitados a maestros y educadores como herramientas de capacitación y desarrollo profesional donde se les presentarán el currículo “Estuaries 101" de la NOAA/NERRS y actividades curriculares de JBNERR.
